Today’s Google doodle pays homage to Oscar Winner Saul Bass, best known for his film posters and title sequences.
The American collaborated alongside some of Hollywood’s greatest directors, including Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese.
The animated sequence, accompanied by Dave Brubeck’s Unsquare Dance, re-creates some of the iconic images from Bass’s 40-year career.
One of the most elaborate Google doodles yet, the clip features images from Vertigo, North by Northwest and The Man With the Golden Arm.
Today would have been the designer’s 93rd birthday.
