Flame-haired singer Florence Welch has revealed she insists on using a battered old CD Walkman and refuses to buy into the idea of an iPod.
Technophobe Flo said she prefers to feel involved while listening to her music and likes to carry round a ‘big bag of crap CDs’.
The Dog Days Are Over singer told how she feels it is the best way to listen to music and that it is a more connecting experience than just pressing repeat on an MP3 player.
The red head admitted that she likes to get involved in the whole album and then listen to a few specific songs repeatedly.
Florence said: “I use an old 90s Disney Walkman and I’m a bit of a technophobe. Any technology made after the 90s just ‘breaks on me’ and I can’t work an iPod.”
On many occasions, the indie star has confessed to being a technophobe and finds it surprising that she is such a huge star even though she doesn’t use modern technology and never uses email.
