August Bank holiday weekend is upon us again and Creamfields has sprung forth in the Cheshire countryside ready to assault our senses with the best dance, dub and electro beats.

The sun is busting through the clouds, but we’ve had 24 hours of rain on site – so anyone on their way is advised by Cream HQ to come prepared with waterproofs and wellies.

Bursting through with a world class lineup and amazing atmosphere Creamfields will welcome 50,000 music fans and Purple Revolver will be on hand all weekend to bring you in depth coverage.

Saturday’s high-lights…

Chemical Brothers have been tearing up the festival circuit – but Creamfields is their natural festival home turf, so expect them to pull some extra special treats out the crates on the South Stage.

Mark Ronson – the super producer is back on the decks and with a record collection second to none, The Bike Song star will ride the rhythms right.

Calvin Harris – the unstoppable party beast is returning to Creamfields with yet another Number One under his belt with Kelis and will bring our his other crowd pleasers.

Fake Blood is bringing his live show to the Annie Mac presents tent, he has been hard at work in his secret lair crafting some medieval sounding tracks. 2 Bears will also bringing their deft mixing skills to the fore.

Watch this space for updates, reviews and picture galleries from the UK’s best dance festival.
