Following the resounding success of gigs featuring Liverpool luminaries Stealing Sheep, The Big House and further afield with The Secret Sisters, Dandelion Girl turn their gaze across the Atlantic again…

In keeping with the folk focus, Liverpool’s premier vintage outfitters will host rural folk-pop duo the Chapin Sisters on the first stop of their debut UK headlining tour.

Lily and Abigail will be treading the boards tomorrow, (June 8th) as part of a whistle-stop visit to Blighty to promote their acclaimed new album Two.

The LP, recorded in deepest rural New Jersey, has just been released throughout Europe on Lake Bottom Records.

The duo’s stock is riding high in their home country at present following the album’s warm critical reception and a tour last year with retro-pop duo She and Him.

She and Him consisting of M. Ward and Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel took the Chapin Sisters out as their opening act and supplied backing vocals at many of their gigs.

The wooden floor and forgotten ballroom atmosphere of Leaf is an ideal setting to take in the sisters’ sumptuous folk tunes, including Digging a Hole, the video for which was directed by acclaimed LA artist Aran Mann.
