Blakes Restaurant located within the award-winning Hard Days Night Hotel is set to serve up an indulgent Mother’s Day feast.
In a bid to spoil the mothers of Merseyside, the popular North John Street restaurant will be offering a selection of culinary delights on Sunday, March 6.
Nestled in the city’s famous Beatles quarter, the eatery will serve a celebratory three-course feast comprising a range of nostalgic family favourites, which have been devised with a contemporary culinary twist.
General Manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey said: “Year on year, we like to celebrate Mother’s Day at Blakes Restaurant as it’s a great chance for families to get together and raise a toast to their matriarchs. “Whether guests want to enjoy an intimate meal with their loved ones or prefer to go all out with a big family celebration, we take pride in presenting the perfect place to enjoy great food, drink and company.”
On the day, guests can choose from a selection of starters such as Chicken Liver and Goats Cheese Croquette with Caramelized Red Onion and Cranberry Jam; Crayfish Cocktail and Roast Red Pepper & Tomato Soup. Mains include Brisket of Herefordshire Beef, Creamed Mashed Potato, Red Wine Jus and Crisp Onion and Bacon; Twice Cooked Plaice in a Warm Tarte Sauce with Pearl Potatoes and Deep Fried Halloumi with Watercress and Shallot Salad and a Spicy Tomato Sauce.
