Following the huge success of collaborations with designers Versace, Jimmy Choo and Marni, high street giant H&M have teamed up with larger than life Anna Dello Russo to create a jewellery collection, with promises to be ‘over the top’ in every aspect.

Available from October 4th, the collection promises to reflect her notorious flamboyant style – but in pieces you could wear every day.

The collection will feature jewellery, bags, sunglasses, shoes and more unusually, a trolley.

Anna Dello Russo’s range is set to encapsulate her taste for ornamentation, featuring inspiration from pieces she loved as a child and accessories she has collected within her home.

Past designer collaborations have been highly anticipated for the Swedish fashion giants and their launches proved a huge success, selling out almost immediately both online and in store.

When asked how her collection will differ she said: “This is the first time H&M have involved a Fashion Director in a special project.

“This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it.”

H&M’s creative director Margareta van den Bosch, who has been the driving force behind previous designer collaborations, has said how different it was to work with the veritable fashion icon.

She said: “Anna is something completely different from what we have done before, she has a fantastic eye and a strong taste. She produced an extravagant range of accessories that will get H&M customers and everyone in love with fashion excited.

“The collection is a celebration of excess, fantasy and decoration.”
