Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner has done his pal Richard Ayoade a favour and penned the soundtrack for his hot new Brit film, Submarine.
IT Crowd actor Ayoade became close friends with Turner after he directed the Monkey’s tour film At The Apollo so he asked The Arctic’s front man to help on his project which he cordially accepted.
Submarine is a drama based on the debut novel by writer Joe Dunthorne. The new flick is due out next year, as is Turner’s soundtrack.
Alex Turner is also in the process of writing his first solo album with producer James Ford, who has also worked with the likes of Klaxons.
