ACBA image of the week: Transformers and GI Joe

Hey geeks, It’s another Sunday which means it’s time for another ACBA image of the week.

This week’s image comes from Billy Pelayo. and features Starscream and Snake Eyes, interesting combination for sure!

When asked for his inspiration behind this week’s image, Billy had the following to say:

“This inspiration for this shot comes from absolute nostalgia. As any kid who grew up in the 80’s, you played with GI Joe toys and Transformers.”

“What would happen if both universes were to collide? You would have the ultimate crossover and the best of both worlds.”

As for what’s in the image?…

“Depicted in the image is Starscream (the jet/plane), (a Transformer), gunning down GI Joe’s most iconic ninja, Snake Eyes.”

“I wanted to capture the chaos of Starscream raining down bullets and bombs, as Snake Eyes ran for cover.”

“The great thing as usual about ACBA shots as you know, is that everything in the shot is tangible. No edits or use of Photoshop. Just good ol’ fashion posing and lighting. That’s the ACBA way.”
