ACBA image of the week: Marvel’s Spider-Man and Rhino

Our ACBA senses are tingling, that means it’s time for our ACBA image of the week.

This week we have one from Marvel’s Spider-Man, featuring Spidey himself and Rhino.

It was created by ACBA artist Shannon Bowie, when asked for more on his inspiration behind the image, he had the following to say:

“This shot was made for my entry to the #ACBA_WhiteHot competition. It was my first time shooting with a plain, white backdrop and I wanted to create something that would set me apart from the other entries.”

“I just received the Marvel Legends Rhino wave and was excited to shoot the new Rhino BAF.
My goal was to create a comical scene with a degree of difficulty thrown into the mix.”

“Utilizing the backdrop, camera settings and fishing line, I was able (for the most part) to create the illusion of Spidey becoming weightless as Rhino pounds the pavement. The stop sign is propped up by a toothpick, hidden behind some polyester dust smoke.”
