Pop culture news has been overrun this week with the big announcement that the UK’s sweetheart and Angel of the North, Chezza Cole is to return to the X Factor – so surely Nicole Scherzinger was looking to hit back in style.

Teaming up with one of the hottest online stores Missguided, the former Pussycat Doll has exclusively released her own line of clothing, designed entirely by herself.

As to be expected, the range named ‘Nicole X Missguided’ is jam packed full of chic bodycon dresses, which was no surprise coming from a woman who’s figure sparks green eyed envy in women worldwide.

Although they may look gorgeous on the singer herself, the line is possibly not as wearable as her fans may have hoped, with a majority of the pieces touching on the side of risqué – with exposed side panels and faux leather galore.

The target market of the collection fits with the audience of the website, hitting the 16-30 group with clothes geared for the club and bar circuit.

One of the stand out characteristics of Nicole X Missguided is the limited colour scheme, with the selection of dresses, tops, trousers and skirts only available in white, black and cobalt blue.

Criticism could be levied for the range being too limited; but it has helped the ‘Dontcha’ singer put her own individual stamp on it.

Already a sell out, the black fish net crop top reminiscent of Kim Kardashian is clearly going to be a winner.

The accessible £15-£50 price range is purse friendly, particularly when mixed with Missguided’s constant offer of 10 per cent off for all University students, who are likely to be a large percentage of the people buying the stylish clobber.

From burlesque dancer, to international popstar, X Factor judge and now hit fashion designer, it seems that the stunning brunette can do no wrong, continuing to please her ever growing fan base.
