Nothing says Christmas more than a classic red lip.
Paired with winged liner, it is the ultimate party look this season.
Teaming with Gabriella Csutor Photography and model Lucy Byrne from J’Adore Models Manchester, this stunning holiday make up was created.
In order to recreate this fabulous look, follow these simple steps.
For the skin, Whip Hand Cosmetics Set the Stage Primer is the one to use for moisturising and priming.
Then, buff Smashbox Liquid Halo Foundation onto the skin in thin layers to create a medium coverage that looks like beautiful, radiant skin.
To brighten the area under the eyes, use Illamasqua Skin Base Lift Concealer.
Apply a light dusting of setting powder.
Finally, use Sleek Contour Kit to sculpt under the cheeks and brushed MAC Blusher in Blushbaby along the cheekbones.
Onto the eyes:
Prep with Urban Decay Potion Primer in Eden, then apply MAC Eye Shadow in Vanilla over the entire lid, plus Quarry and Concrete in the contour of the eye.
Be sure to use a fluffy blending brush, like MAC’s 217, to blend away any obvious lines of colour.
Then use a small eye shadow brush to apply Concrete along the bottom lash line, creating a soft smoky line.
Using a MAC 211 brush, I apply Illasmasqua Precision Gel Liner in Black on the top lash line, winging it out from the outer corner.
Use Make Up Forever Smoky Lash Mascara in Black on the lashes, making them look very full and defined.
Red velvet lips are so sexy!
For perfect rouged lip, line the lips with Illamasqua Lip Pencil in Strumpet.
Using a square lip, brush for precision. A favourite is YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats in 203.
Blot with tissue and reapply for long lasting colour.
Set the look with Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray and party on!
