After a phenomenal comeback with her third album Prism, it was no surprise Katy Perry picked up the Woman of the Year gong at the annual Elle Style Awards.
Dressed in a figure enhancing Vivienne Westwood gown, the Roar singer looked every inch the star, sporting minimalist make up and a chic cropped hairstyle.
Fellow pop princess Kylie Minogue presented Perry with her much sought after award at the star studded bash, which saw many celebrities arrive almost straight from the front row at London Fashion Week which is currently underway in the capital.
Designers and their muses turned up on the red carpet looking as if they had stepped directly off the catwalk.
One of the fashion highlights of the evening went to Emma Watson, who looked stunning in a Giambattista Valli Couture dress, which took a modern take on the classic LBD by combining sequins with an origami style skirt. Watson also clinched the award for Actress of the Year.
Lily Allen attended the event in a surprisingly demure dress made by Roland Mouret despite her unusual ponytail/short fringe hairstyle, and also clinched the Best UK Recording Artist honour after putting out her new music towards the end of 2013 to great success.
Not forgetting the males, actor Tom Hiddleston scooped the prize for Man of the Year, but was unfortunately unable to attend.
But, male eye candy was not in short supply, with the attendance of model David Gandy in his three piece Marks & Spencers suit.
