Covent Garden sits pretty as a fashion mecca in the heart of the Capital and is the perfect location for an exciting new shop launch.

The Zou pop up store has been launched to celebrate spring, incorporating and collaborating the realms of fashion, design and art.

Run by Soichiro Kimura and Axel Wang, the stylish store combines renowned and established labels such as Gareth Pugh, Yohji Yamamoto and Rick Owens, with fresh up and coming designers including Your Future A.F.F.A.I.R, Blindreason, Psperti and Steven Tai making for a unique and stimulating experience.

SPoN, the curator of the store based in the UK and Japan, works with a desire to explore the world through the concept of collaboration and interaction, an idea which is interjected into Zou and exposed through its combination of design, textiles and style.

Zou is not only working in collaboration with designers but Antenne Books who bring forth a cultural realm to the store through their selection of art design and photography from independent publishers.

Also involved in the project is Link, who have offered hand print furoshiki and textiles that have been created to integrate Japanese tradition with contemporary style.

The atmosphere of the store is relaxed and minimalistic, with wood panelled walls and exposed brick creating a modern and laid back vibe. For shoppers, this is the ultimate environment for stress free browsing.

The clothes lining the rails give off a muted vibe, with next to no bright colours, sporting shades of black, grey khaki and white. The tone of the collection is nothing short of cool, sophisticated and alternative – with the selection of tough black boots being a sure fire hit.

The pop up store will run until Monday 28th April, so with a few days left it would be crazy to miss out.
