Summer’s over, toss your espadrilles and crisp whites away. Here’s the best sneaker releases of the next fortnight.

ASICS GEL LYTE V HEAVEN’S GATE

With Halloween around the corner, why not pair these slabs of exquisiteness with your favourite Wes Craven character? You’ll be pressed to find anyone who trumps that.
In 1997, members of an extraterrestrial cult in San Diego, committed suicide with the intentions of leaving Earth to enter a ‘higher state of being’. Victims were all found wearing identical black and white Nike ‘Decades‘ each with purple head cloths covering their faces!
This eerie tribute to that outlandish event is either a clever marketing plea or the most obvious of coincidences.
Believe what you wish, I know I’d be seen dead in them.

NIKE AIR MAX 90 ‘CAMO’

Whether we like it or not, Autumn and cooler weather is rapidly approaching. With that in mind, a pair of camo’s are as essential as a silly face mask on October 31st.
Fresh from the upcoming Utility Pack, this edition features a neoprene sock liner that’ll keep your plates of meat nice and toasty during those colder, crisp mornings. For added warmth, they’re a little higher than the regular ’90 and are finished with classic camouflage tones and a black sole.

SAUCONY X UNIVERSAL WORKS ‘SHADOW’

Earlier this year, releases such as the ‘Kushwacker‘ and the ‘Ice Cream Pack‘ have seen Saucony battle for supremacy on the footwear front. With this new release we see a debut collaboration with British fashion brand Universal Works.
There are two colour ways to chose from, the winner being the sand, paired with that eye-catching argon blue heel cup. Expect quality materials with this excellent rework of the ‘Shadow.

PUMA x SNEAKER FREAKER x PACKER ‘BLAZE OF GLORY’ ‘BLOODBATH’

Oh what a pair of beauties these are. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of everyone’s favourite shark film, Puma have decided to take a bloody twist on their ‘Blaze of Glory’ with the ‘Bloodbath’.
Continuing their shark inspired collaborations with Sneaker Freaker, this release includes crimson red leather, minty highlights and a black plastic panel that manages to pierce deeper than a Great White’s eye.
Not fishy enough? That’s a dangling tooth next to the laces. Absolute Jaw droppers, if you get my drift.

October 10th – £140 – endclothing.com

RONNIE FIEG x HIGHSNOBIETY x PUMA RF698S

Lastly and just about making this weeks list is the Ronnie Fieg and Highsnobiety designed Puma RF698S. Taking inspirations from the each other’s roots, the shoe features premium black quilted leather with red accents and the all victorious German national flag on the inside panel.
If you start queuing now, you may stand a chance.

See you in line.
