The leaves are falling and changing colour which means that it’s time for a wardrobe change as well. It’s no different in Liverpool, except in our North West region it also means that it is time for luxury fashion with these spectacular events: The Childsplay Clothing Liverpool Fashion Week and Chic Networking’s Liverpool Fashion & Lifestyle Show.

This year’s Fashion Week has its opening night tonight at venue for the week, Liverpool Football Club. Over the next five evenings, the stadium will open its doors to fashionistas, bloggers, celebrities, models and more who have all come to witness a piece of fabulous fashion from the celebrated brands to the latest independent stores.

Directed by Lifestyle editor Amanda Moss, Liverpool Fashion Week is in collaboration with designer store for the young, Childsplay Clothing. Together they have prepared the ultimate fashion parade without the Scouse brows as seen on their Facebook page. This week is about the high end of fashion with Scouse brows banned from every model’s face.

People on the “FROW” and in the rows behind it will see designs from the likes of new talent: Hannah Hodge, Tiaz Boutique and Enigma; as well as high street stores John Lewis, Slaters, Dorothy Perkins and Burton. International brands have been welcomed to Liverpool also with the likes of Margarita Fashion, Chio Couture and La Redoute.

But remember that the underlying theme of this week is “Families Come First”, celebrating and reminding the public of the importance of family. The finale of the week will be dedicated to the kids through Junior Night.

Joe Anderson, Mayor of Liverpool says of the event, “Liverpool Fashion Week is an outstanding platform to showcase new talent and I am proudly supporting the prestigious event which shows off our stylish city to a global audience.”
