London rockers The Spivs release their debut single ‘It’s True’ in October.

The band, Ben Edge (guitar/vocals), Danny Suplex (bass) and Steve Coley (drums), are described as “the definition of raw and primal rock and roll music” with influences from 1950s rock and roll, 1960s garage and 1970s punk.

The Spivs were spotted by the White Stripes producer Liam Watson who upon hearing a rough demo helped the band record their debut single.

‘It’s True’ will be released on 7″ on October 10 on 1965 Records.

Live dates:

19th September – Queen Of Hoxton, London (Mat Hornes club night w. Florence & The Machine plus others)
23rd September – Catch 22 – Shoreditch, London
