To celebrate Sir Paul McCartney’s 73rd birthday today (June 18), Hard Days Night hotel has introduced a limited edition birthday cocktail in his honour.
Inspired by the Tiger Jack, which is known to be one of McCartney’s all-time favourite drinks, The Macca will be served at the venue’s stylish Bar Four for one day only to mark the infamous Beatles’ 73rd birthday.
The commemorative cocktail, priced £9.95, puts a contemporary twist on the classic long drink by combining Triple Sec and Bourbon, together with Grenadine Syrup and Orange Juice.
General Manager Mike Dewey said: “In order to raise a toast to Sir Paul McCartney, our bar team have devised a special blend that pays homage to one of Paul’s favourite drinks.
“With its woody and sweet flavours, we are expecting that The Macca will become a huge hit with both Beatles fanatics and the general public alike.”

Paul McCartney was born on June 18, 1942 in Liverpool in England.
Paul has been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to music.
He has won the Grammy Award for 21 times, BRIT Awards for 8 times and is a two-time inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He along with his band Beatles won the Academy Award for Best Music, Original Song Score for their song ‘Let It Be’.
Despite becoming a multi-millionaire singer, he failed an audition to be a choir boy – In the 1950s Paul auditioned for the choir at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral, but was rejected.
The Planet 4148 has been renamed to ‘McCartney’.
McCartney is the richest musician with an estimated fortune of 750 million pounds.
