R&B artist Trey Songz has announced that he will play a one-off show in London’s O2 Academy on Sunday 29th March.

As well as this performance, Trey Songz is supporting super star Nicki Minaj on her forthcoming UK arena tour that will begin Saturday 28th March at the O2 in London.

Last year, his album “Trigga” was released and debuted at #1 on the UK R&B album chart. It was the sixth studio album for the 30-year-old rapper and it sold 105,000 copies in the first week of sale.

Trey Songz premiered his latest video for ‘Slow Motion’ last month, which has already received over five million views.

The singer-songwriter is not shy of the camera, as he has had acting roles in films “Texas Chainsaw 3D” and “Baggage Claim”.

Songz also enlisted a variety of guest appearances on “Trigga” from fellow artists, including Nicki Minaj, Mila J, Ty Dolla Sign, Justin Bieber, and Juicy J.

Last May, in an interview with Yahoo! Trey Songz spoke about the “Trigga” album: “Trigga is you know, my sixth studio album. It’s my every emotion at this point in my life, it’s the good, the bad, the ugly, it’s the beautiful, it’s last night, It’s love, it’s hard-hitting beats, but beautiful keys. It’s beautiful melodies, it’s so personal to me as well, of course I have songs that are impersonal, that are fun records, that just want to get people to move and dance, but as you get to the depths and the layers of the album, it gives you an insight to my life at the person that I am – and what’s going on in my life as I try to figure out growing into manhood, and taking on the responsibility that I do and trying to find love.”
