The haunting harmonised sound of Liverpool folk/pop trio, Stealing Sheep stirred the crowd and the beating rhythms attracted more ‘sheep’ to the flock to the filling crowd at the Bombed Out Church last night.

Thankfully the weather held up and the nu-folk group hapilly treated their hometown to five tracks from their upcoming album.

The music stood the test of the acoustics in the decaying old church and far from being just another folk clone, the influence of 60’s psychedelic rock and pop music could clearly be heard.

The rising talent (who have had the nod from Sir Paul McCartney himself) were at ease on stage and their mix of beautifully crafted songs and a plethora of unusual instrumentation won over the crowd and hinted at big things to come for the girls.
