‘Shake It Out’ is Georgia quintet: Manchester Orchestra’s third single from their critically acclaimed album ‘Mean Everything To Nothing.’

It has to be said that Manchester Orchestra do indeed rock it in their own fashion but there is too an unmistakable similarity in Hull’s melodic bark to Biffy Clyro’s own Simon Neil, and that their jarring riffage is akin to pre-sellout Kings of Leon. You’d be stupid to label those remarks negative though, considering the recent success of those aforementioned rock groups.

With a dogged consistency tamed only by a forty second interlude, followed by a neatly arranged build up and a climactic final eight seconds; it is rock at its most barefaced and blatant.

A rough-and-ready blitz of unrestrained excellence from a band who’re well on their way to becoming a renowned indie-rock sensation. If not now, their tour slot with Scotland’s Biffy Clyro is a sure-fire solution.
