When this landed on our Purple Revolver hot desk, we had high expectations for Out Of Sight’s debut album Where Do We Go From Here.

Firstly, for being signed by Slam Dunk Records and secondly for being nominated for Best British Newcomer at this year’s Kerrang Awards.

The four piece band have been garnering a following for themselves. Their Pop-Punk style takes after the likes of You Me At Six and the screaming girls should follow too.

But Out Of Sight definitely prove an originality and passion that differs from the expectations of pop-punk predictability.

Front man Jake says: “It is a fun album, that’s what we wanted to do, turn everything that’s negative, positive.”

A key track to delve into is – Where Do We Go From Here, a song written about the death of a band member’s father.

There are more light heated tracks too, in particular the fun and catchy number, Hey! (Walk Away).

Its guaranteed you in your head all summer. It’s true to say, Out of Sight is sure on the way to success.

Catch them at Sonisphere Festival in July but you’ll have to be quick getting tickets as the boys have already had sell out tours, one playing to over 10,000 people at Slam Dunk Festival. See you there.
