Bristol music fans were treated to an impromptu singing performance from Macaulay Culkin when he turned up with his pals on tour.
The former Hollywood child star, 32, stunned the small crowd at boat club Thekla when headline act Adam Green introduced Macaulay, then the duo launched into a cover of Beach Boys hit Kokomo.
Insiders say the audience were initially sceptical, refusing to believe the scruffy fella welcomed as a “special guest” by Adam was actually the one-time blockbuster star of Home Alone.
Adam – best known for being one half of cult indie outfit Moldy Peaches – was billed to be performing songs from his new collaboration album with LA singer Binki Shapiro.
But Binki fell ill shortly before the show and was unable to take the stage so Adam ploughed on solo and made sure the night would enter legend for the audience when he brought out Macaulay for his encore.
The Home Alone star said: “I’ve come all the way from America.”
Adam then hugged his famous pal before the duo began singing Kokomo together, with the film star hitting only a few bum notes during an otherwise passable rendition.
Macaulay – wearing his hair in a high ponytail and clad in shades – appeared a little nervous and shy at first.
He stood mostly still, wiggling his hips occasionally, while Adam danced around the stage.
But as the song progressed, Macaulay’s confidence increased and he even threw some shapes of his own.
