Gorgon city opened its immense UK tour this week, whilst making a Whistle Stop Tour to the O2 Academy in Liverpool this evening.
Winning the Breakthrough Act of 2013, the electronic duo have progressed phenomenally, especially as they arrived to bus loads of screaming fans who have been waiting eagerly all Summer to hear their beating music once again.
One father of the crowd has darted from his works to patiently wait for a few hours to pick up his daughter’s tickets from the Box Office.
He said: “This is the maddest queue I have ever seen! So many screaming girls!”.
Selfies, strobes and stilettos, the fans were gearing up for the dynamic duo, after they were struck by the booming bass produced by house DJ, Klose One, who opened with some 90s floor filler remixes.
An hour into the night and the room still boomed.
The floor was filled right up to the back door—after all, tonight was a sellout show.
Suddenly the stage filled with am omniscient green light.
Elderbrook brought his deep garage beats to the stage, as the crowd went into a black out.
Half an hour of his live, handcrafted beats and rhythms, Elderbrook saw the crowd roaring!
By now it was extortionately hot, as everyone became hyped up, ready and waiting to rave to Gorgon City.
The crowd literally went wild.
Piercing through the fans, electric blue and white strobes highlighted the red-faced ravers who were ready for more.
Gorgon City took centre stage, and commenced their act with their first tune of the night, ‘Real’.
As the night went on, the atmosphere became insane.
A mixture between some of their tunes that hit the UK Top 40, and some from their latest album, Money, which came out in May this year, Gorgon City created some magnificent memories for their fans.
Some hits included on the set list were:
All Four Walls
Right Here
Saving My Life
Go All Night
The night drew with an all-time favourite ‘Go All Night’, to which the crowd were in awe of the magnificent performance they had just witnessed.
