A look-alike for the South Korean singer PSY lived it up with Hollywood stars at Cannes after posing as the Gangnam Style star.
The French imposter loitered with A-listers like Skyfall actress Naomie Harris and The Pianist star Adrien Brody.
The event, held by luxury jeweller Chopard, saw the fraudster behind the DJ decks and he even scammed his way into doing Gangnam Style live on French radio.
Named since as 34-year-old Denis Carre, he donned Psy’s trademark suit jacket and wacky white shades to pull off the prank.
A source at Cannes said: “He had three security guards with him at all times in suits and earpieces.
“He was scamming free drinks, including three bottles of Cristal Rosé champagne with lunch.”
Carre, who is from Blanzat, explained how he was inspired after being mistaken for the singer before in Dublin.
He said: “A crowd of people gathered around me and the situation got totally out of control.
“We were only able to get out with the help of the bouncers.”
The impostor was rumbled after the real Psy tweeted: “Seems like there’s another me at Cannes…say hi to him.”
