Much-tipped power trio Being Jo Francis rocked Mojo on Tuesday.
The Foals/Biffy Clyro influenced three-piece set the club alight with their ferocious sound.
The gig to launch single 23 was also held to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, as the band tragically lost one of their friends, aged only 23 to the condition.
All donations received on the night went directly to the charity CRY which raises awareness about Cardiac Risk in the Young.
The band were also joined on the bill by anthemic Liverpool rockers December Giant.
Being Jo Francis arrived in Liverpool a mere 12 months ago, after making their way up from their hometown of Coventry.
The group’s incendiary live shows have seen them build a reputation as ones to watch on the city’s gig circuit.
