Looking for somewhere a little bit different to venture off to in 2015? Take a look at our top picks for this month’s unconventional places to visit.

Key West, Florida

The Florida Keys is a small branch of Islands off the South Coast of Florida, USA.

Key West is the Southernmost point in the USA, only 90 miles away from Cuba, and is home to writer Ernest Hemmingway’s house, Key Lime Pie, and one of the best sunsets America has to offer.

To top it all off, everybody there is happily living a lazy island life with a drink in their hand. Perfection.

The Cotswolds, England

The Wiltshire area covers many of the beautiful quaint towns of England that show our country’s heavenly countryside, as well as world famous Stonehenge site.

One such village is the charming Snowshill, which is where Bridget Jones’ Diary was filmed.

Queenstown, New Zealand

This is definitely an adrenaline-filled adventurers spot.

Queenstown attracts those who want to ski, snowboard, explore the glow-worm caves, bungee jump, raft and skydive.

It also permits ‘Freedom Camping’ where it is free to camp overnight on any public land (as long as you leave gentle footprints).

Mpumalanga, South Africa

In this small province of South Africa, you will find one of the most popular Nature Parks in Africa, Kruger National Park, covering over 7,000 square miles.

The area is also home to natural beauties such as the Sudwala Caves and crystal chambers, also Blyde River Canyon – the world’s largest “green canyon” due to its lush subtropical foliage.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Slowly establishing itself as one of the best tourist destinations, we wouldn’t wait too long to visit this place before everybody else does.

The heart-shaped country comes from the ancient monasteries and orthodox monks, who first hailed there.
Now the bustling streets of Sarajevo house traditional cafes and plenty of festivals year round.

You can see the history of the area and post-war life there, with haunting abandoned Olympic buildings and spaces.

Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

Popular because the Leonardo DiCaprio film The Beach was filmed here – the Phi Phi islands are some of the most beautiful and romantic beaches in the world.

With snorkelling attractions and a monkey beach, this tiny island is well loved by many.
