You can never go wrong with fragrances.
At the lower end of the price range Boots are selling women’s Jack Wills body spray trios for £10 and the Body Shop’s bestselling scent White Musk is £11 for 30ml.
At the higher end of things, popular designer perfumes such as Daisy by Marc Jacobs (50ml) is £51.50 at The Perfume Shop; Miss Dior (40ml) is £67.50.
If you’re looking for men’s fragrance, again Boots are great as they offer FCUK Double Duty for £8 and the more expensive Bleu De Chanel (50ml) for £42.75 plus Hugo Boss Red (125ml) for £34.99.
It will make your boyfriend smell fit, so honestly it’s worth it.
The few days between Christmas and New Year are definitely reserved for relaxing. Putting some pamper material in a stocking is a great idea.
Lush’s Christmas Collection is perfect for bath bombs, which are all around £3. One of their best sellers is the Twilight bath bomb, which is £3.35 and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Again, Boots also strikes a good deal, selling the large 500ml Ted Baker Royally Relaxed bath foam for £12, which is sure to make whoever you’re giving it to feel very royal and relaxed.
Accessories and jewellery are a classic fixture for the stocking and often the most expensive item.
For those that are in the market for a large price tag, watches from Michael Kors are perfect – to be honest every woman is lusting after a rose gold one.
The Parker Rose Glitz is £229 from Beaverbrooks, while for men, the Barbour watches look great and The Beacon is a leather-strapped classic style at £175, also from Beaverbrooks.
Equally as classic is a wallet or purse in a Christmas stocking.
Again, Michael Kors makes stunning ladies purses and can be found on ASOS for £125, while Ted Baker has a great range of men’s wallets and the Harvys Leather Billfold is £42, also from ASOS.
However, if you’re not in that sort of price range, don’t fret as there’s plenty more out there.

Of course, everybody would appreciate Primark’s Cosy Socks, the warmest and fuzziest item of clothing you could ever dream of. A pack of 2 is £4, and trust us, these are a necessity.
Finally, a stocking needs to have a fair amount of fun and quirky prezzies inside it.

Urban outfitters also sell a good deal of jokey gifts, like temporary tattoos for £8 and hip flasks with hilarious designs such as “Holy Water” or “Livin La Vida Vodka” for £12.
However by far, the stocking filler that trumps all this Christmas is the Polaroid or disposable camera.
Fujifilm Instax cameras have been hugely popular this past year, and they’re a great present too.
With the dawn of hipsters, vintage-style Polaroids are in and that makes these cameras perfect as they instantly dispense a Polaroid photo as soon as you snap it.
Alternatively, you could get a Kodak disposable camera from Amazon (£10).
This is also a great stocking filler, as once it has been pulled out the stocking on Christmas morning, the gift recipient can take photos throughout the day that you won’t be able to see until they get printed, so it will be fun to see them after the festivities have ceased.
