For the rich and famous there are plenty of casino hotspots around the world where they can comfortably pull up a chair at any table of their choice and get involved in some hands at poker, to play roulette and hope to break those odds or to take on some blackjack action.

So what sort of casino locations draw in particular types of celebrities or big names in the world of TV, film and sport?

If certain celebrities like to play right in front of the paparazzi to make sure they get some free publicity then they can do so otherwise they can also request some private gambling sessions in the casino away from prying eyes.

Las Vegas is ideal for exactly this scenario with an entire strip of world famous casinos ready to swing open their doors to famous faces and high rollers.

The Palms casino in Vegas for example can set up special areas for particular celebrities if they’d like to enjoy some private playing time.

Famous players that often visit the casino resort, which offers 95,000 square feet of lounges, restaurants and stylish bars, include two time Academy Award winner Ben Affleck, action star Bruce Willis, American TV presenter Ryan Seacrest, former baseball star Jason Giambi and ex-Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson.

Rihanna and Kim Kardashian have also been spotted hitting a few after dinner tables when dining at the star-studded upscale Italian Lavo restaurant in Vegas.

It’s a particularly popular destination for many stars not just because it’s accommodating attitude towards celebrities but because of the vast array of other activities you can do in the city of sin.

So whilst it’s a popular destination for the more gambling savvy celeb the casinos can also draw in other famous faces that may be in the city to take in a show, dine out at one of its world famous restaurants or to simply do a bit of high-class shopping. The casino side of things may be a second thought but when in Rome.

The Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia has always received a steady flow of talent and big names over the years and it’s a casino which can proudly state that it’s the largest in the entire Southern Hemisphere.

Stars that include that of tennis aces Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova. Roddick, the world’s former number one, has played in a number of poker games in the casino’s very own designated poker room.

The Crown Casino has also seen music star Justin Timberlake wandering the floor looking for some gaming action.
