Soon the funniest month of the year will be upon as September will see the launch of the Liverpool Comedy Festival which takes place from 16th September to the 2nd October, during which time you can see some of the nation’s best comedians at the Epstein Theatre and across the city!
First up is Jarlath Regan’s Arseways on Sunday, 18th September. As seen on ITV’s Live At The Palladium, Jarlath Regan presents a celebration of screwing up. It’s an ode to making a balls of it, in praise of failing and failing better while flicking the V sign to everyone focused on being perfect.
Described by fellow comedian Jason Byrne as “always one of the fastest and funniest shows at the festival,” don’t miss this evening of sublime stand-up.
Next up is Carl Hutchinson: The Fixer on Thursday, 22nd September. See one of the UK’s most in-demand comedians as he does what he does best: hilariously squaring off against life’s petty annoyances.
From people who obnoxiously post motivational quotes on social media to those who urge you to put your phone in rice when you get it wet, Carl Hutchinson tackles a bunch of little, everyday issues in his latest show The Fixer.
Meanwhile, on Friday, 23rd September, internationally acclaimed comedian, Craig Campbell, shares his hilarious tales of globetrotting adventure in Don’t Look Down.
One of stand-up’s most charismatic and inventive performers, Craig is a man with truly funny bones. In fact, one expectant mother laughed so hard at his jokes her waters broke!
Lastly, The Epstein Theatre is delighted to welcome back the UK’s first and only, full-production interactive hypnosis show on Saturday, 24th September!
Returning after two massively successful shows, Viva Hypnosis stars world-renowned comedy hypnotist Simon Warner.
Be transported to the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas where YOU have the opportunity to be the STAR of the show!
“The Epstein is proud to welcome the cream of the UK stand-up scene to the theatre this September with some hilarious shows which are guaranteed to give your chuckle muscles a work out,” Epstein Theatre Manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said.
