Gok Wan, the man who encouraged women and men to ‘get naked’ in his six season Channel 4 series How To Look Good Naked is finally ‘getting naked’ himself with the announcement of a brand new stage show Gok Wan Naked & Baring All coming to The Epstein Theatre on Wednesday 15th November 2017.

With 18 theatre dates around the UK, Gok Wan Naked & Baring All marks the first time the multi-talented fashion guru, TV presenter, author, programme maker and panto star, Gok Wan, has taken to the stage to ‘bare all’ about his own life.

Gok Wan Naked & Baring All is co-written and directed by Owen Lewis (Grumpy Old Women Fifty Shades of Beige, Suggs My Life Story, Pete and Dud Come Again, The Only Way is Downton).
Frequently referenced as “the man I’d be most likely to leave my husband for” since bursting onto our TV screens in 2006, Gok’s career has gone from strength to strength. With regular slots on ITV’s This Morning, 2016 saw him star in Fearne and Gok – Off The Rails for ITVBe, Gok’s Lunchbox on ITV, Gok’s Fashion Fix on Channel 4 with a follow-on series Gok’s Clothes Roadshow; Get the Look For Less.

We’ve seen him cooking on Gok Cooks Chinese, travelling to China in search of his ancestral roots in Made In China where he explored what it means to be an Anglo Asian; film a moving documentary on child obesity Too Fat Too Young and exploring the modern-day issues teenagers face including sexuality, online bullying and eating disorders in the three-part series Gok’s Teens: The Naked Truth. His most recent venture has been the release of Gok’s Divas, on Warner Classics featuring 30 classic numbers from the world of opera and musical theatre.

But whatever you think you know about Gok Wan, you haven’t heard the half of it. From his humble beginnings on a Leicester council estate, to becoming one of the country’s most recognised faces, Gok Wan Naked & Baring All will see Gok candidly unravel his life to reveal everything he has not yet dared to bare.

No collar is left unturned in what might be the most honest, campest and naked stage show ever to mince the boards!

Theatre manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said: “Gok has had the nation hooked on his television shows ever since he burst onto our screens over a decade ago. We can’t wait to welcome him to The Epstein Theatre for what is sure to be the perfect night out – a show of thrills and spills!

So book your tickets now for this funny and candid show – to miss it would be un’bare’able!
