Prepare to be transported across 40 years of Bowie as Ed Blaney brings his David Bowie tribute band Ultimate Bowie to The Epstein Theatre on Saturday 20th May.

Ultimate Bowie delivers a stunning two-hour show of Bowie classics. From Space Oddity to Lets Dance and David’s latest massive hit Blackstar. Blaney recreates Bowie’s chameleon-like personae with costume changes and amazing vocal likeness. Witness the pure theatre that is Bowie!

Ed not only possesses Bowie’s awe-inspiring vocal prowess but is also the definitive look-alike of Bowie.

A performer who easily commands the eyes of the audience every moment he is on stage, Ed blends past and present effortlessly.

David Bowie frequently reinvented his music and image, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential innovators over the last five decades! His sudden death touched people all over the world, as fans of all ages unite to mourn a true legend.

He sold an estimated 196 million albums throughout his career, first catching the eye and ear of the public in the autumn of 1969, with his space-age mini-melodrama Space Oddity.

After a three-year period of experimentation he re-emerged in 1972 as flamboyant alter ego Ziggy Stardust, spearheaded by the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Ultimate Bowie pays tribute to the work of this global super-star, in a show that is visually stunning and vocally impressive. The band is not called Ultimate Bowie for nothing – this show captures the essence and authenticity of David Bowie in concert!

Theatre manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said: “David Bowie was a true artist. His music touched generations of people across the globe. Ultimate Bowie is an exhilarating live show and a fitting tribute to a remarkable man.”

“Magical, captivating, and eerily accurate. See it to believe it.” Dorothy Billing, RemoteGoat.co.uk

“The capacity audience, who ranged in age from 16 to people in their 60s, were spellbound from the opening number.” Graham Miller, The Daily Record
