Say It With Founder Charlotte Donoghue and In Demand radio presenter Claire Simmo have created Say It On The Sofa and the response has been overwhelming.

The ladies started filming the podcast in May and have been inundated with guest and sponsor requests already and slots have been taken for the weekly shows up until October!

The funny duo wanted to create a platform that enables guests to talk openly on both a personal or professional level.

“We wanted to create a community for both women and men to talk openly, whether its a light hearted conversation or more serious subjects. We all know by talking about things it lightens the load, that being said if someone just wants to come and have a gab and put the world to rights, thats also what we are here for, to make people smile, or reach someone who might be struggling, so they know they are not on their own.” comments Charlotte

Claire and Charlotte started working together last year through their respective roles and hit it off. ” we joked about how funny it would be if we had a podcast and then a few months later on a whim “Say It On The Sofa” was created and within weeks of deciding we were going to do it,  Glamify Fashion kindly sponsored our first set of shows and recording began. Its been an exciting journey so far but also a rewarding one, watching an engaged and supportive community being created, whilst having lots of fun along the way” said Claire.

The podcast will go live in early July and the weekly episodes will see the ladies dressed in gorgeous outfits from the renowned Glamify Fashion, talking about subjects from grief, relationships, discussing views on gender equalities, to date etiquette. ” The shows will have a mixture of controversial and topical debates, fun girlie chats between us as well as getting up close and personal with some celebs too, as well as me gearing up for my future prime minister role!” laughs Charlotte.

The show launches on 1st July & will be aired every Wednesday so head over to @sayitonthesofa and you can also follow Charlotte
( @charl_sayitwith ) Claire ( @clairesimmo16 ) on their exciting new ventures with sneak previews too. The girls decided to keep with the theme of girl power and chose Cez from CCC studios in Southport to record the podcasts with.

“We also want our podcast to be motivational and be the reason for someone to make a positive change, acting also as a platform of support & encouragement, for individuals & business owners to inspire others, so for example if we reach someone who has been thinking of setting up their own business, or making a risky/bold personal move, like leaving a destructive relationship, reconnecting with an old friend / making up with a family member or whatever it may be, if we can help one person in that position then we are winning in our podcast as thats always been our main, with a little bit of a giggle along the way” says Charlotte

The strong duo will also be hosting a live podcast debate session with some extremely juicy and girlie topics at the Selfee Summer Social at Zenn Rooftop on 7th August at 4pm,so you have a chance to join in the fun and share your opinion on the controversial topics, live with the ladies.
