Purple Revolver successfully pulled off a ‘flagmobbing’ with Mylo as he played a monster set on the main stage at Creamfields yesterday.
Mylo had hit out at festival organisers at Reading and Leeds who had put a blanket ban on fans flying flags because they cause an obstruction.
The Destroy Rock and Roll star got the crowd whipped up playing his hard electro trademark tunes before pulling out a St Andrew’s flag to adorn his decks.
Drop The Pressure star Mylo then spun his own crowd pleaser In My Arms Baby as the Purple Revolver Street Team handed out 300 Scottish flags for the masses to fly with pride.
Mylo, who was wearing his ‘lucky’ lime green jumper he also sported at Rock Ness, said the crowd were up for it and the flags gave him an extra buzz.
He said: “Playing Creamfields was amazing.
“I was a bit nervous because my set was stripped back and I feared the crowd would get a bit rowdy and start chanting for Tiesto.
“But they loved every minute of it and so did I.
“The flags were a great touch.
“It was brilliant to see the St Andrew’s flags flying – it gave me an extra buzz.”
