Derek Acorah is undoubtedly the UK’s No. 1 Spirit Medium.

He achieved his current status by becoming the resident medium for Living TV’s – ‘MOST HAUNTED’, in which he was seen investigating haunted properties. The programme proved to be a huge success with the viewing public achieving phenomenal audience figures. This success prompted Living TV to broadcast a live 3.5-hour Halloween show in October 2003, which had viewing figures in excess of 1.4 million! There have subsequently been numerous live programmes, which have seen audiences reach in excess of 2 million.

His personal popularity rose to such an extent that he moved on from ‘Most Haunted’ and had his own show on Living TV, ‘DEREK ACORAH’S GHOST TOWNS’ the first series of which begun broadcast in November 2005, with series two & three airing in 2006. Also, to date there have been two Live ‘Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns’ programmes broadcast in 2006. In addition on November 5th 2005, a 2-hour special was broadcast featuring Derek in his quest to find Guy Fawkes. His UK success on television has led to the programmes being sold worldwide to the likes of the U.S.A., Canada, and Australia etc.

In May & June 2007, Derek travelled to Egypt to record a new 8 programme series ‘PARANORMAL EGYPT’ which began being screened on Living TV in September 2007. His status as the UK’s No.1 TV medium has thus enabled him to make numerous other guest appearances on a variety of programmes both on terrestrial and satellite television.

Prior to working for Living TV, he appeared regularly on Granada Breeze for some three years. His skills as a Clairaudient made him a huge hit for them, resulting in the broadcaster being inundated with calls, something that also happens on his regular broadcasts on The James Whale Radio Show on TalkSPORT. Indeed, his success on this show led TalkSPORT to give Derek his own 3 hour show on New Year’ Eve

In September 2004, his book ‘The Psychic Adventures of Derek Acorah’ was released and spent an unprecedented 14 weeks in The Sunday Times Best Sellers list, his second book for Harper Collins ‘Ghost Hunting with Derek Acorah’ repeated this success and they have also released ‘Derek Acorah – Haunted Britain’, ‘Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns’ (the accompanying book to his most recent TV series for Living TV), Derek Acorah’s Amazing Psychic Stories and in March, his new book ‘Extreme Psychic’ was released and once again took it’s place in The Sunday Times Best Sellers list. Further books are in the pipeline for 2008.

His hugely entertaining and charismatic style which he displays on TV, Radio and during his live theatre performances is proving to be a major attraction ensuring that he will undoubtedly become a major world wide star.
