Flood Of Red release new music video Home Run (1997) on 5th October in run-up to album launch and headline tour.

Their debut album ‘Leaving Everything Behind’ is out on their own label Dark City on 19th October. Inspired by the emerging practices of the likes of Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, Flood Of Red release their debut album via a variety of neat, independently-funded marketing techniques and value-for-money bundles and digital downloads.

Flood Of Red comprises Jordan Spiers – vocals, Sean McGroarty – guitar, Calum Doris – guitar & backing vocals, Jamie McGowan – bass guitar, Dale Gallacher – keyboards and Graham Griffith – drums.

Formed in Airdrie, near Glasgow in 200 they started out as a trio who met at school and on the local skate scene and soon expanded to a sextet. The band toured months after their formation, all aged just 17, playing for £20 and cheese sandwiches.

In January this year they flew to Baltimore, Maryland where they spent a month recording their debut album with punk rock extraordinaire producer Brian McTernan (Cave In, Thrice, Converge) in his Salad Days studio.
