Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon have graced our screens to give us the newest romantic comedy of 2025 that will give you stitches of laughter.
You’re Cordially Invited is about Margot planning her sister’s perfect wedding and Jim planning his daughters wedding.
Suddenly disator strikes when the beautiful island destination weddings find out they have been double booked on the same day. What will happen?
Both parties decide to share the venue even though only one wedding can be booked there per weekend.
The two parties go into a battle to have the most perfect wedding ever.
Who will win?
But will this end amazing or be a disaster, we will just have to wait and see.
Three words I would use to describe this movie is fast-paced, awkward and funny.
It really does give us our early 2000s romcom fix we all needed at the start of 2025.
Will Ferrell was incredible as Jim, his use of physical comedy and overall persona really made the movie.
We can’t forget about the iconic Reese Witherspoon, the character of Margot was a different side of Witherspoon compared to Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.
The character had no-filter, said what she was thinking and was very type-A, compared to Jim who was more chill in this film.
You will definity not get bored watching it, there is always something crazy or distarous happening that will leave you with your jaw on the floor.
The overall film was incredible from the plot-twists, use of props, comedy and use of catchy music made it a hilarious watch and I would definity recommend anyone who hasn’t watch this, watch it now.
The movie is available on Amazon Prime Video and is a must watch.
