Nasty Gal is planning to open it’s new store but for now, owner Sophia Amoruso is enjoying her online success.

Nasty Gal is a product of American entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso who started the shop as an eBay page where she would sell re-designed charity shop buys.

Using only Myspace as a promotional tool, she managed to get enough traffic to her eBay page to start creating the website back in 2008 but by then she had turned the heads of the press and so was getting a lot more traffic.

Nasty Gal has a large range of clothes that are edgy, fashionable and you are sure to find some eye catching pieces in the range.

At the moment, the online store is shipping from America, which can mean a bit of a long wait for deliveries (not too long but not as fast as a UK based store!) but it is definitely worth the wait.

The store now has 1 million likes on their favourite page and are getting great publicity from top publications around the world.

It seems that the store has certainly sky rocketed over the last couple of years and Sophia is enjoying every moment of it.

Sophia explains how excited she is to finally have her shop take physical form.

‘I’m so excited that I’ll get to hang with my customers, seeing them try stuff on and leave happy with a shopping bag.’

This would be a great moment for any budding shop owner, especially for one who spent her life digging for food in dumpsters.

You can visit Nastygal.com to view their ranges and you can also buy Sophia’s book ‘#GIRLBOSS’ through their website to learn more about how she got to where she is today, with some tips for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
