There is no doubt that 2014 has been nothing but a success for the Kardashian/Jenner clan. From the most talked about wedding bash of the year between Kim and Kanye, to Kendall’s rocketing Delevingne-bestie like modelling career.
We’re not sure if it’s a coincidence or Kanye’s input, but either way we’re not complaining. Kim Kardashian’s style has gone from strength to strength during the past year – the woman has a knack for looking incredible and whilst also causing a healthy amount of controversy in the media (ahem, THAT naked photoshoot …)
Playing up to her envious physique, Kim has developed rather a particular wardrobe for herself which consists mainly of close fitting two pieces and killer heels, which has had girls and brands trying to imitate her across the globe.
Why change what works?
Since the early days of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Khloe has always been the family underdog, particularly in the eyes of the media. This year however, Khloe appears to have stolen the family crown.
Branded ‘hotter than Kim’ in some of the tabloids, which she openly admitted she found hilarious, it is clear that KoKo has come into her own as of late.
Frequently posting gym pics on Instagram, Khloe has promoted her penchant her self-improvement, which is also mirrored in the clothes that she wears.
Sporting a much more casual style than her younger sister, Khlo knows exactly how to rock a ripped jeans and biker jacket combo.
Khloe has also sparked hair envy across the world, with her long caramel locks being presented in various different styles over the past year including tights braids and the half pony.
It’s hard to evaluate the Kardashian style without a nod to the Jenner girls, who are becoming stars in their own right.
Kendall Jenner’s modelling career has taken off in a big way, which has seen her work for designers such as Chanel and Balmain and land a deal to become the face of Estee Lauder.
She has also starred in an iconic photoshoot for Dazed magazine, which saw the 19 year old take on a number of unusual styles such as posing nude under a huge black wig – all in the name of fashion.
A stand out moment in fashion this year for the family was Kendall’s double split embroidered white gown, aptly captioned ‘why have one split when you can have two?’ on Instagram – move over Angelina.
Kylie the youngest of the family isn’t doing too badly either, just having launched her own line of different coloured hair extensions this year inspired by her short blue tinged tips, aptly named Kylie Kouture.
Kylie hasn’t been shy of controversy this year, with many fans accusing her of having plastic surgery to enhance the size of her seemingly much larger lips. She hit back explaining that it’s all good make up and that she just loves the look of big lips which is clearly displayed on all her social media accounts.
The popularity of the Kardashian family is relentless and will no doubt explode even further into the new year.
