Anticipation has been at fever pitch for the coming together of Britain’s best-loved clothes store with a household name in sportswear.

In this case, leisurewear giant Adidas linking up with High Street favourite Topshop.

Sportswear luxe is currently at the height of its popularity, with bright and comfy pieces selling not only to gym bunnies, but also people who would rather spend their night on the sofa instead of pounding the pavement.

Sports emergence into lead fashion lines has meant that anticipation for the Adidas/Topshop hook up has been riding high, particularly since the release of the Chanel Couture trainers.

The 20 piece collection includes typical sporty apparel, such as; tracksuits, t shirts and running shorts, but with an added feminine Topshop twist in the form of prints, from hearts to the London landscape.

As with their own new collection of clothing, Topshop has kept the theme of spring running through the pieces for the collaboration, with their soft colours and light fabrics.

Although putting their own unique spin on the brand, they’ve of course kept the signature Adidas logo, assuring undivided attention from loyal fans of the triple stripe.

As with most popular brands, Adidas’ household status will ensure that customers will turn up in their droves to get their hands on the pieces.

After all, modern style allows us to sport tracksuit bottoms with heels and trainers can now be combined with an on trend skater dress to great effect – the times, they are a changing.
