Skinnydip London is single-handedly responsible for transforming the world of accessories into a bolder and more sparkly place – and who could argue with that?
Since setting up in 2010, the brand has managed to take the fashion world by storm with their quirky prints, swathes of glitter and lush materials.
Initially starting as designs for iPhone, iPad and tablet cases, the unmissable style of Skinnydip has branched out to involve bags, headphones and iPhone cables into the empire.
Trendy trio Lewis Blitz and brothers James and Richard Gold took their business plan to Dragon’s Den, before choosing to launch the unique line by themselves – with the objective to transform the drab and monotonous world of accessories.
Cartoony prints dominate the phone cases – with popcorn, dinosaurs, pineapples and even cute little cacti yelling ‘hiya!’
It’s no surprise that celebrities appear to love the brand, and all publicity is fab publicity.
Pop songstress Ella Henderson uploaded a snap to her Instagram account of her brand spanking new phone case from the Skinnydip brand – declaring herself as ‘100% Mermaid’.
Made in Chelsea babe Lucy Watson also supports the company, with her cute pink faux fur ‘sassy’ phone case, also of course displayed proudly on the photo sharing app.
Speaking of Instagram, Skinnydip has their own super chic account where they regularly update with new products, designs and who is using them – including discounts and promo offers that you’d be mad to miss (@skinnydiplondon).
One of the newest additions to the line is the gorgeous metallic shoulder bags in the shape of a sea shell -this is available in pink or blue depending on your mood and is selling out fast. Act fast to release your inner mermaid!
