Many celebrities deny having cosmetic surgery, despite walking around with noticeable changes on their body.
While lots of stars are shy about sharing the details of the cosmetic work that they have done, others are extremely open about the work they have had such as “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here!” star David Gest and US actress Pamela Anderson.
Another famous face that springs to mind when discussing celebrities and cosmetic surgery is Victoria Beckham.
The fashionable mother-of-four and wife of David Beckham, Victoria, now 40, had a breast enhancement surgery in a London clinic, which took her from an A cup to a 34D.
A few years later, she had the implants removed, leaving her with a smaller, but a more realistic looking chest that looks perfect with her slim-line physique.
It’s been noted that the work that Victoria Beckham has done is likely to be the cause for increases in other surgery.
Victoria first found fame as part of the girl band Spice Girls in the 1990s when she went by the nickname Posh Spice, and had hit singles with songs such as Wannabe. While she has come a long way since her days as a pop star, Victoria’s “posh” persona has stayed with her, and she has been rumoured to have had everything from lip fillers to face lifts.
Exactly what work Victoria has had has never been entirely revealed, but it is likely that Victoria has also had Botox injections, due to the super-smooth skin on her face. In fact, her skin is as wrinkle-free as it was in 2003.
Her taut facial skin can also be put down to face treatments such as fraxel laser, which, like Botox, eliminates wrinkles but also “irons out” the rest of the skin to create a flawless look. Some plastic surgeons also suspect Victoria has undergone tip rhinoplasty to create a streamlined appearance. Her new refined nose suits her, as it works well with the rest of her face and body, which is completely free from anything rounded or bulging.
Other singers who have openly admitted to having cosmetic surgery include Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani. And it’s not only women who like to go under the surgeon’s knife to enhance their looks.
Male stars also like to take care of their appearance and Axl Rose, Barry Manilow, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Pete Burns prove that cosmetic surgery is not just for female celebrities.
