The jungle the jungle, the brothers the brothers.

Part of the acclaimed native tongues family (along with de la soul and a tribe called quest), the Jungle Brothers rose to fame in the late 1980s/early 1990s as part of the new wave of hip-hop built around conscious, sometimes afrocentric themes as well as incorporating jazz-style sounds into their music.
The group also experimented with house music that was prevalent at that time – the single ‘i’ll house you’ is seen as the first ‘house-hop’ record (fusing house music with hip-hop flows).

After a long hiatus which saw the trio disband and experiment with new projects, Mike Gee, Africa Baby Bam and Dj Sammy B are reunited and back on the road bringing some of that fresh JB flavour to your town!
