The rappers have been on hiatus since 2007, focusing instead on solo albums. But, rumours of a reunion began as far back as 2011 when the group moved their recording deal to Epic Records.

Recently one half of the Grammy award winning band Big Boi admitted to fans:

“We’ve been kind of discussing things. Once we map it out, we’ll make an announcement. Mum’s the word right now.”

No official announcement has been made by the Ms. Jackson rappers, but rumours suggest they will be returning next year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

According to sources, the bands first date will be at California’s Coachella music festival,

But Andre 3000 has denied rumours that that the bad are also working on a new album.

The Hey Ya singer said: “The only thing I can really say is I’m going to get back to having fun.”
