With over 50 songs written, three albums released and a significant number of radio stations playing his material, London based singer/songwriter Mick J Clark now returns with his new single Anuther Sunny Hulliday.

A jaunty summer track with all the sun and good times you could want. The simplest lyrics and the happy-go-lucky music are what makes this so catchy. The track is accompanied by lively bungee fairground ride clips. It certainly fits the excitement of the song. There’s some real personality just shining through this.

Having always wanted to be a pop star, the road to that dream was a little winding. Initially trying to pursue a career as a veterinarian while also being promised try outs for Brighton and Hove FC, but by his own admission, he didn’t have the brains to be a Vet and stupidly walking away from a possible football career at 16.

While attending school, he saved the money for his first guitar, joining bands, writing songs and even taking a summer spot at Pontins with a band called Damien and the Delemers singing popular songs of the day.

Mick was DJ for Croydon University hospital radio for eight years, but the dream is still there.

“If you want something enough, you keep trying, so maybe this time, Mick says

“With a bit of luck, here I go again”

50 records is an impressive back catalogue, they are released over three albums and three EP’s called Notes 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, 36 of those have been accepted by Emerge Media with permissions to be used in shops, which makes it more than likely that we are familiar with Mick J Clark’s music without knowing it.

After hearing Anuther Sunny Hulliday there is a desire to explore some more. The full collection is available on all platforms.
