Haunting from the outset, Know Me Anywhere, the beautiful Evanescence-like melody beckons eerily, almost dreamlike, then bam! that guitar kicks in and we’re off. It’s a powerful track that generously vocal and defiantly different.
Brooklyn based trio Castle Black personifies 80’s Punk with added Grunge and the alternative of the alternatives. Mixing their sound with observational social anthems and plenty of sass.
Their latest EP, Dead In A Dream was released July 2019 and is the first part of a larger EP Take Her My Life which is due to be released in the autumn.
Having previously worked with Mark Plati (known for his work with David Bowie and Prince) on their 2018 EP The God’s That Adored You that brought the tremors that are shaking the world today into relief through modern Punk.
Recently they featured in the NY Music Daily, having been described as ‘The band you want to catch on the way up’.
As well as playing some of the more popular festivals such as the Northside Fest, NJ Shore Fest, Elephant Talk and Staten Island’s PrideFest.
Selected to play Summer on the Hudson’s Make Some Noise Fest 2017 as part of a handful of female led groups that highlighted women in the music business making an impact on the NYC music scene.
They are a relentlessly touring band and their music is widely played not only domestically but also on the international scene including Australia and the UK.
