As the growing cases of infected people continues, more and more artists are having to cancel or post pone their tours.

ENTER SHIKARI are also having to cancel their upcoming album launch shows for the UK, New York and Moscow.’

However, their new album ‘Nothing is True and Everything is Possible’ will still be released on 17th April 2020 via So Recordings.

The band’s statement:

Dear Friends, Family & Future Historians.

Unfortunately, despite attempts to look at this from every angle possible for alternatives, and after consulting with promoters, management and even a selection of fans, the current situation forces us into making the difficult decision to cancel the proposed Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible album launch shows for the UK, New York and Moscow.
While the shows are impossible to play in April / May for the obvious logistical – and, more importantly, health-related – reasons, the overall uncertainty makes rescheduling those shows for any other time virtually impossible too.
We’re very sorry.

We were looking forward to playing shows again, and were excited to be able to play some of the new album tracks for you.
Hopefully sometime soon we can find a way to be able to take another approach to this.

For fans that had the Ticket Access Pass / Fan Club access for priority ticket access for the UK album launch shows, we will say this :
*VERY SOON* we will be announcing proper tour dates for later in 2020.
We have been reassured that your Ticket Access Pass / Fan Club membership will be carried over to allow you to access a 48 hour special pre-sale for those dates.
You will also be placed on a dedicated mailing list for special advance notification of any intimate / festival warm-up shows that may happen this summer (as there is every probability that we will have to warm-up after not playing shows for a while).

We realise this is not ideal, but nothing about this situation is.

For Hamburg and Paris shows, we have a little more positive news along with the disappointment.
While we have to postpone the shows from April, we / our promoters ARE working on rescheduled shows for later into the summer to align with European festival dates.
Tickets for the April shows will remain valid for the summer replacement shows, and we’ll have details of them very shortly once 100% confirmed.

New York / Moscow – As we don’t know when travel bans will be lifted over the next couple of months+, the only thing we can do is regretfully cancel your shows and say that refunds are available for tickets from where you purchased from.
We can only apologise, and see you sometime later in the year for proper tour shows, hopefully.

Again, we are very sorry that this is the position we find ourselves in, but the circumstances are beyond our control.
Ultimately, what is vital is that everyone does all they can to protect their own health and the health of those around them.
Nothing is more important as that.

We hope everyone is keeping well, and that your families are staying safe and healthy.
Keep an eye out for elderly neighbours who’re on their own, and also remember that independent local businesses will be hurting during the coming weeks, so support them when you can.
and big-up the NHS workers; working hard for the sake of the country’s health in these difficult times.

thank you,
Rou, Rob, Chris & Rory.
