Pack up star Eliza Doolittle has confessed she goes weak at the knees for old UK garage and wants .
Eliza was reminded of her garage love, after a collaboration with chart topping duo Disclosure.
She called for a move back to the days of Craig David and So Solid. Eliza said: “I was a huge UK garage fan, and hearing Disclosure’s song Latch took me back, I knew then that I wanted to write with them.
“Every chance I get I go to old garage raves, I just love it, and Disclosure’s music is so true and soulful.”
Disclosure and Eliza, had a huge hit with You and Me, and performed a memorable set at Glastonbury.
She added: “Glastonbury was my favourite ever gig, even if I did only sing one song. Disclosure are so sweet, we are from he same music family.”
Eliza is now getting ready for her solo comeback with a hopeful future hit Big When I Was Little, and has even managed to become the supporting act for Lionel Richie at the British summertime at Hyde Park.
She said eagerly: “I hear amazing stories about Lionel, I would die if he asked me to sing Endless Love.
“I would also love to perform with Jlo, I grew up on her, copying her dance moves and well really just want to be her.”
‘Big When I Was Little’ is out on July 28th.
