Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All have been making waves in the music industry for a while now, and RED Distribution/Sony have taken notice, snapping up the LA based collective.
But, in keeping with the group’s in your face, meteoric rise to stardom, the deal means the boys will form Odd Future Records, as a partner with RED/Sony.
Odd Future will release all future releases under their own label, allowing them to keep their rape fantasy and Satan worshiping themes without pissing off Sony too much.
OFGKTA manager, Chris Clancy, confirmed the deal via RapRadar and had this to say, “They will have 100 per cent creative control of all aspects of their music, art, and release schedule with no 3rd party participation in outside business…
“RED and Sony know that it’s in everyone’s best interest to maintain the group’s authenticity and control. They built it, they deserve it. There’s no cheesy hooks or fluorescent liquor product placements in the works.. It’s about to be fun.. and different…”
So now Tyler and his crew have signed a mainstream record deal do you think it will calm them the heck down or will the music be as raw and… as disturbing as ever? Let us know in the comments box below.
