Liverpool based, Chester born band Idle Frets release their new single ‘Glow’.
The band consisting of frontman, Ben Davies, lead guitarist, David Hennessey, Drummer, Erin Gibson and Bassist, Luke Lewis.
Idle Frets have been gigging and touring the UK debuting their indie pop-rock sound for the past few years, with songs such as ‘Aftershow’ and ‘Lifeline’ being their most recognised tunes.
Their latest addition ‘Glow’, accentuates the progression that they are making as a band and their songwriting capabilities.
‘Glow’ has an overdriven tone to it, yet subtle to bring out the melodic tune beneath it and demonstrate the vocal ability of Ben Davies.
With lyrics such as “She smiles at me with her eyes/And they glow when I kiss her” and then delivered on stage in a way that energises the audience, Idle Frets host the same kind of exciting buzz that followed bands such as Catfish and the Bottlemen in their early years.
