Chew the Fat – Cable turns 3

Chew the Fat have been in the game for a hot minute now. The London based crew were quality purveyors of all music informed by bass, long before the myriad term bass music was coined.

Their exercises in everything from breaks to drum and bass, dubstep to UK Funky has seen them hold residencies in clubs as celebrated as xOyO and the now sadly deceased End in the past, but later this month they get together to celebrate another fine London institution.

They kick-start a period of monumental anniversaries on June 15th with a party to promote three years of Cable, the south east based club understandably chuffed to make 36 months of riotous hedonism.

The event is bolstered by a room of full frontal dubstep, headlined by Bare Noize with Killsonik, Reso, Document One, Marco del Horno and Statix all in the mix.

A second room goes for a less intense but no less energetic approach with a more wide ranging look at the bass music genre, Hostage topping the bill in this room with Lee Mortimer, Warrior One and Lakosa all on board.

Fifteen also points to the years Chew the Fat have been in the game as well and with the Autumn swinging by plans are already afoot to bring in this milestone with some serious sessioning.

Start the celebrations early for this with a £5 entry party; get down to Cable before midnight or buy your tickets in advance.
